Hi Dawn - Just watching replay now. Yes, life alert is the best, the price is worth the peace of mind. Even if he would fall and wasn't able to alert the necklace, the company would be alerted and if he didn't answer then they would call the emergency contacts on file. My mother fell and would have laid there alone for hours because me and my sister were out of town. They got a hold of my husband and he went over and helped her. Alert would have sent an ambulance if my husband wouldn't have been answered. Love the card by the way!! Really like it in the Peach Pie.

The new Apple Watch does the same thing. If you fall and don’t get up it will send notification and it doesn’t have a monthly fee. The only $$ is the cost of the Apple Watch.
We had Life Alert for my mother. If she would push the button, an operator called her, if she didn’t answer, then the operator called the designated person to check on my mother. Her cats would jump on her lap and accidentally push the buttons, so operator called often. The call came to a box that sat by her chair. I can’t remember if she pushed the necklace button to answer or how she answered, because she was blind. It’s worth it. Good luck. I think they also have watches.
